The Excavation of Hob’s Barrow Game Review

The antiquarian Thomasina Bateman is writing a book on the barrows of England in which she documents her discoveries of treasures in the. A mysterious letter invites her to the little village of Bewlay which is hidden away in the countryside far from any other, she sets off by train and her assistant to leave for a few days behind.
The mysterious person who called her to help is not present at her arrival. Her assistant never arrives. An uncompromising landowner denies access to the barrow while the people in the area are wary of this lady traveling alone in her own vehicle and (gasp!) wears trousers.
Hob’s Barrow excavation is off to an uneven starting point. Then Thomasina starts having strange dreams…
